Split Testing, Tracking, and Optimizing
November 8th, 2006
Here’s a question for you - Are you making or losing money from your traffic?
Furthermore, are your squeeze pages and sales letters bringing in as many prospects and customers as they possibly can?
Surprisingly enough most marketers cannot answer either of these questions, mainly because they have no idea!
It is interesting how offline businesses thrive on knowing the answers to these questions, and yet most Internet Marketers completely ignore them and happily waste most of their advertising dollars and leave a TON of cash on the table.
I have put together a video that you can watch that will teach you a simple principle that I use (and that ALL other successful marketers use) in order to increase my profits without increasing my traffic.
You can watch it by clicking on the following image:
Enjoy!
Matthew Glanfield
P.S. Post your comments here about the video…

The content was also exc excellent.
I’m not ready to buy anything, but you have definitely built up your credibility in my eyes.

Hey Matthew,
That’s a nice little informative video covering the basic concepts of split testing. Do you plan upon going further into the analysis of the relationship between conversion rates and other variables like traffic source, ip address, etc.? How about touching upon the Taguchi method? These would be very helpful as people become a bit more advanced.

Hi everyone
I never know what I think about something until I read what I’m written on it.
Thank you gilles

The video format may be good for those who have high speed internet, but for those of us who live where high speed is not available it is extremely frustrating. You listen to a few words, then sit and wait long enough to read a fair sized paragraph before you hear the next few words. When they first started using voice one the Internet most of it worked that way. They did come up with a few programs that would play straight through but I was never able to find out who they came from. Is there any way to get around this problem, and what is it when you don’t have high speed access? The information you give would be of great value if it had a better delivery system.

Great video. Just wondering how much version 2 will cost with all the features- maybe an arm and two legs. Just kidding

So that’s what a squeeze page is!
These great videos explain it in terms and actions that I can actually picture in my mind, instead of seeing confusion, I see a doable action plan that I can implement.
Squeeze pages really do make sense, and they build a list. I always wondered how to build a list and why a list is so important.
I’m telling ya, it makes perfect sense. It does.
Also, Matthew does a wonderful job speaking in these videos, in a nice clear educated voice.
Thanks a ton.

Great quality videos!
Split testing can become a bit complicated i.e:
Testing all the components that you mention, and also testing different components of your Google adwords ad, so in essence it all actually becomes:
testing=mc2
There’s an idea for a new product:
Being able to combine split testing of your ads and squeeze pages all at once:)
You have a great product here!

Great videos. Interesting idea to take us to Video #3 and then make #2 and #1 available from #3. Who knows maybe you were split testing?
Having done a lot of research about Internet Marketing and having met many of the greats in the business - your information makes sense. What a novel idea!
Do not just attempt to make money but develop a method to actually make money. Look forward to version 2 of YourSqueezePage.
