Price of YourSqueezePage Version 2.0

November 29th, 2006

Hello everybody,

As most of you are well aware, YourSqueezePage Version 2.0 is going to be released tomorrow (Thursday, November 30) at 12pm EST.

I know a lot of you have already decided you want to grab Version 2.0, whether to use them for affiliate marketing or to market your own products.

We have been inundated with questions about the new version, and most of the questions have been answered in the videos that I created.

However, there was still one main question that was left unanswered, mainly because I wasn’t completely sure about one thing.

That question was this:

How much is this going to cost?

Many of you expressed concern that it would be out of your budget, leaving you behind while others get to use another tool that gives them a competitive advantage.

However, that is not going to be the case. I want to make this affordable for everybody to use, from the new marketer to the seasoned “veteran.”

For that purpose the YourSqueezePage software will be selling at $39.95 per month.

Having said that, I have had several people request something that beforehand I utterly refused to comply with. They wanted to be able to purchase lifetime memberships.

That means that you would only have to pay once and then be able to use it forever. You would even get future Versions free of charge.

The reason that I didn’t like this idea to start with was that it actually costs me money to run this service month after month. Since I am hosting the squeeze pages I incur extra bandwidth costs, hosting costs, and I have to work harder to make sure everything is secure.

However, because of the overwhelming demand I have decided to allow for the purchase of lifetime memberships.

When trying to think of a fair price I thought about charging for two years (that would be about $960). Even that would be a deal, considering you could use it for as long as you like (and trust me, this software isn’t going anywhere).

However, I realized that was probably out of reach for most people, so I thought about making it a little lower, around the $500 mark.

Even that price seemed a little too high, so I began to see how “low” I could go.

Which brought me to my final decision - lifetime memberships would be sold for at least $297. Considering that equates to less than 8 months of normal membership fees I believe that to be a great bargain.

However, given the fact that we will enter “launch” mode tomorrow, I thought it might be fun to offer a special “sale” price for the period of 7 days starting tomorrow.

Having said that, I am going to be giving away lifetime memberships to YourSqueezePage Version 2.0 for only $197! That’s less than 5 months of membership fees!

But once the 7 days is over the lifetime cost will go up to $297, and probably even up to $497 within a month or so.

(Of course, for those of you who would rather take the monthly cost you can still get it for $39.95 per month.)

So buckle up and get ready for tomorrow, because we are going to have some fun!

Until then, take care…

Matthew Glanfield

  1. Tom Says:

Sounds great, Mathew. Can you tell me why I should switch from Marketing Makeover Generator?

    Thanks, Tom

  2. Barry Says:

    Matthew,

You may be pricing yourself out of a market by boosting the price. This service does a great job of pulling a number of pieces together template, audio, linkage to auto responder, etc., but at some point it becomes more cost effective to utilize the ‘parts’ (audiogenerator, etc.) for multiple purposes rather than paying $40/mo. just for a squeeze page. I will be purchasing v2 to try it out, but my antennas are now up!

  3. Karl Green Says:

I paid for 6 months ($114.00) just over a week ago because I didn’t know there was going to be a change in the price. I’d never even heard of 1.0 until I got an email about 2.0 and that is what I wanted. Can I get the lifetime for another $83?

  4. Brian Says:

I assume your sales page will have full details on your new Squeeze Page service?

And being hosted on your servers, are you collecting names as we use the service and build our lists?

  5. Margaret Says:

How are you going to handle people who have time left on their membership to version 1??

    I bought a 6 month subscription!

Can you apply that toward my lifetime membership in version 2??

  6. Karl Green Says:

Where do I pay the $197 and then get the $114 refund? Do I do that today or tomorrow?

  7. Sue Says:

    Hi Matthew,
Great to finally see the price but….

if some people can purchase a whole lifetime’s membership for $197, why are we, the poorer marketers, still expected to pay $39 per month?

Would it not be kinder and generate a bigger List to let us have a lower subscription in relation to the lifetime membership?

    And on another note….

why are ‘you’ hosting the created pages?
Surely it would be better for us to purchase the software and host the pages we create on our own websites?
That way, it would be an even better deal for all.
We could purchase the software and then when you release any updates, these could be then sold at an attractively low price.

    Or better still….

    why not offer both options..

    Subscribe and/or Purchase!

That way, we could try it out for a while and when we decide we like it, we could then purchase the whole product.
And of course, that way, you wouldn’t have to give refunds…

    What do you think?

    regards,
    Sue

    Hey everybody,

Just to answer some quick questions:

    1. Yes, you can apply any recent payments to the lifetime amount. Simply upgrade tomorrow and then log a ticket on the helpdesk asking for a refund of the old payment.

    2. I am hosting the software for a few reasons, the #1 reason being that it is easier to support and upgrade. It also saves you the costs of extra bandwidth charges on your own hosting account. Finally, it is much easier to find and fix bugs rather than have you download patches and try to figure it out yourselves.

    3. The lifetime membership fee is for those who know they are going to want to keep the membership. If you are unsure if you will use it for very long then you can get the $39.95 monthly plan. You can always apply your latest payment towards a lifetime membership.

Hopefully this answers some of your questions. If not, then ask more! ;)

  9. Thomas Says:

monthly fee is residual income which comes month after month. Mattew, I’m afraid that your life-time membership is too low. I think you should set a time limit if you would liket to sustain this service.

  10. Nina Says:

    Hi Matthew;

SqueezePage V. 2.0 Tutorial was awesome.
Thank you! Looking forward to more.

  11. John Says:

    Matthew,

Per your response to the various questions asked, your #3 answer about those not being sure they will be long term users may pay $39.95 per month. Then you state further that you can always apply your latest payments towards a lifetime membership. Does this mean that if I sign up for the monthly service that I can, after 5 months, apply those payments for a lifetime membership?

  12. Randy Scott Says:

    Hi Matthew,

I have been subscribed to a couple of your projects already and I just got your email today. It’s about a program that Joshua Shafran has put out and it sounds interesting enough that I want a little more feedback from you.

I have always felt that I could trust you unlike a number of others operating out there.

I am fairly new to IM.

    Thank You.

    God Bless,

    Randy Scott

  13. Juan Rivera Says:

Please let me know where can I buy the lifetime to YourSqueezePage Version 2.0 for only $197?
    Thanks.
    Juan R.
