Hiring and Outsourcing Free Report

March 12th, 2007

Ok, I have a special treat for you today.

A while back I wrote a blog post on how I have been hiring new staff and renovating a new office.

I promised that I would write a free report on it and give you all the juicy details.

Well, it’s done!

You can download this report by clicking on this link:

http://www.affiliateminute.com/HiringAndOutsourcing.pdf

There is no squeeze page to by-pass, and absolutely no cost.

All I ask is that you post a comment on this blog on what you thought (or any questions you may have).

Enjoy!

Matthew Glanfield

P.S. Oh, you can see the pictures of my office here:

Loved the report. Extrememly practical. You have an incorrect word on pp 14. I’d use it as part of the test on your voicemail — e.g. there is an incorrect word (i.e. one spelling which means one thing versus another which means the correct thing — bonus points if you identify it in your cover letter.)

    Matthew,
nice to see real world results after hearing from you through email, blogs, websites, etc. Great to see the progress, success, etc. Some things to think about as I move forward in my own affiliate business. Thanks.

Scary office! Where’s the windows! (Not the Microsoft kind, lol)

  7. Alain Tanguay Says:

    Congratulations Matthew,

Great report. And the office looks great.
But I would never work in there. I think you
drive your people too hard…which explains the hammer.

    Just kidding.

    Hi Matt!
Loved your article! I am the webmaster for Mary Miscisin, and run www.positivelymary.com.
Mary has been struggling for months deciding when to begin hiring…I gave her your article and she is getting to work on it now!
    Thanks!
    Matt

    Hi Matt
I found the report excellent in it’s content.
Nice that you included your story from the begining. i will certainly be keeping a hard copy for when i reach the point of needing to do this for myself which will be before the end of this year. Your Ad copy and methodology for recruitment is great and many will find this useful.
    My favorites are the photo’s.
Great to see you combined all the necessary requirements for an internet business office.
    beautifull dog for security.
    Cups for caffiene intake.
candy bars for energy to sustain the workload.
and last, but not least, The Hammer!!! for those times in the day when nothing else will work.
Seriously Matt, you have a great working space which you should be proud of and well done Dad for doing the work.
    Regards
    Billy

Thanks for all the great comments guys (and gals)!

I’m glad you noticed the hammer. It keeps my employees in line. ;)

    Hi Matthew,

Very informative report. But I gotta tell ya, I really don’t envision myself hiring employees and bringing them into my home. Seems like it takes away a lot of the freedom of being self-employed.

Outsourcing, yes. That I can see. I realize I probably won’t be able to grow my business as big as yours or make as much money by not hiring, but I’d be willing to accept that for the freedom from the hassles. I don’t have a lot of material “wants” so less money’s no big deal.

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me. You seem to enjoy having people around you to work with, but I enjoy working by myself–other people are just a distraction. Guess I’m quite the introvert.

    Best regards,

    Brian

P.S. Nice pics. Did you leave that hammer in the pictures to see how many clever comments you could get?!

  12. Nicky Says:

    Hi matthew,

thanks for your report on hiring and outsourcing. I was interested in the list on when to outsource and when to hire…some useful tips there. I also agree that it can be less then motivating to be home alone working so the idea of hiring someone casually part-time from a local university to come to my office appealed to me.
I see your boss has already taken pride of place in the middle of the carpet woof woof hehehe.
    all the best nicky

    Hi Matt,

Great report, need it in the near future. Btw, you office look great even thought there is no window. Must be fully air conditioned then. :)

    Hi Matt,

It’s nice to see someone making bricks and mortar success out of the Internet! Hats off to you!

    Keep up the great content!

  16. Ruth Says:

    Hi Matthew!

Great report on outsourcing. Thanks for your real world experiences in internet marketing. Maybe once I finish the course in AMInner Circle and Your Traffic Formula, I can grow up an be just like you ;-)

By the way, I am having so much fun in both courses. The bonus courses are awesome too!

I admire your honesty and integrity and I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor.

    Ruth

P.S. By the way, Reuben is also wonderful to work with.

  17. Jim Says:

Matthew, good background and solid info for the newer home office business. Liked the link to the 1-800 service that you use. Any other referrals of this type are ALWAYS appreciated (less time for me to search). Again, thanks!

    Jim

  18. Ron Says:

I would like to do it but don’t have a site and don’t have money to get started
