Audio and Video Will Boost Your Conversions
March 14th, 2007
One of the things that I am constantly trying to do is improve my conversions.
That way I can get more sales for each visitor that lands on my site. Not only does this increase profits, but this allows me to decrease my cost per acquisition (i.e. how much I pay per customer). That means I get more customers for less money.
One of the ways that I improve my conversion rates is through audio and video. You’ll notice that a lot of my squeeze pages and sales pages incorporate audio, and some even have video as well.
That is simply because it works!
When done right, audio and video will add a dimension to your website that will far surpass regular text.
You will be able to:
- More easily communicate with your potential customers
- Easily build a relationship of trust
- Convey emotion and value
- Show benefits quicker than text
However, it has always been difficult to implement these strategies as not everybody has the necessary equipment to record audio and video.
On top of that, there is the issue of knowing how to put everything together and on your website.
I have a free report that you can read that will address these issues and give you some possible solutions.
You can download it here:

After you are finished, please post your comments and let me know what you thought!

Thanks for the tip. Audio and visual will definitely help in converting the time hungry, who find it hard to find the time to read.
Will definitely test audio /visual on my blog.

Using video implies that you’re also using audio and with that in mind: what do you guys think of Derrick and Todd’s SqueezeVideos?

Hey, Matthew.
Thanks for the free downloadable PDF file on the use of video. I recently made my own video with the use of this information. It was really fun and boy does it ever effectively convey emotions!
Thanks,
