Podcasting for Profits - Funny Video and a Free Teleseminar

November 15th, 2006

Here’s some food for thought - if the Internet is constantly changing and new forms of media are popping up, what happens to those that take advantage of the “early start?”

We saw it with audio, we are now seeing it with video, and we are also seeing it with an interest concept called podcasting.

Now, I don’t want to bother to go into the question “What is podcasting?” - I’d rather let the famous “ninja” tell you instead:

Doesn’t that make much more sense?

Well, if you are still wondering how you can apply this to your business, I have a couple of real experts (don’t tell the ninja I said that…) who hosted a free 90 minute teleseminar last night explaining how to use podcasting in your business.

You can listen to it here:

Enjoy!

    Hi Matthew
    Waste of precious time
    Certainly not buzzworthy
I am fully aware of the power of podcasting and do also follow both Poul Colligan and also Alex Mandossian on their podcasting sites. I have also the videos from Derrick van Dyke. But I have discovered that the videos has to be short and works best supported by some headline and text.

Podcasting is there for the long haul. Some people think video will overtake it and it’s true video taking off big time, but just like we have radio and television there is podcasting and video.

A high quality podcast is probably less technically difficult to produce than a high quality video and for some subjects a visual medium is just not necessary.

Podcasters are making money and inroads, apart from the fact that a podcast feed can generate back links if you submit it to various places.

A podcast can be a standalone business, via selling advertising or can be an adjunct to the core site. A podcast is a way to tap into the power of web 2.0.
