When is the best time to send out an email?

April 18th, 2007

When you send out an email, what do you test?

(Do you test anything?)

Just like sales pages and squeeze pages, emails need to be split tested to ensure that you are making the most money with each email that you send.

Some of things that you can test include the subject line, the message content, personalization, and even how the links look.

However, one thing that is often left out of testing is the time the email is sent.

When is the best time to send out an email?

The 2007 Business Report

January 23rd, 2007

I have found that January is one of the best and worst times for my business.

It is the best time because I am able to take the success that I had in 2006 and easily pull in more profits because of that.

Because of the work I did in 2006 I have built a customer list, a good sized opt-in list, several products, and a stronger business.

However, there is also a bad side to this - I have to be extra careful not to get complacent.

A “New” Type of Traffic Generation

January 12th, 2007

It’s funny actually, what I am about to talk about is not actually “new,” but it is very new to the Internet marketing community.

About two months ago I was introduced to two people who radically changed the way I think about traffic generation and Internet marketing.

In fact, although I did extremely well in 2006, almost doubling my 2005 revenues, these guys made me feel rather small and insignificant, not because they were belittling, but because of what they were able to accomplish by this one single traffic technique.

Getting More From Your Subject Line

January 2nd, 2007

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about a method that I am using to better choose great products to promote.

(You can read the post here)

The results have been tremendous - instead of taking two or three weeks to find a great product by trial and error (wasting potential earnings) I have been able to lower that time to two days.

Just last week I ran a split test of 4 different products, found the one that did the best, and then made about $1600 in commissions, all while sick with the flu!

How to find great products to promote…

December 15th, 2006

It’s like finding water in a desert.

Whenever I find a good product that has an affiliate program that converts well into sales I am extremely overjoyed.

The difficulty with affiliate marketing is not in finding products to promote, but in finding great products to promote.

There are four main components to a great product:

Well, beginner training it is…

December 14th, 2006

It’s funny, sometimes we need a “kick in the butt” to remind us to practice what we preach.

All of these months I have been telling you to ask your list what they want and then provide them with it. I definitely do this, but there was one issue that I continually put aside for later.

That is the question of absolute beginners.

Well, that problem is being solved as we now speak. Right now I am working with two separate partners to come out with two very low-cost products that will solve this problem.

However, they are not the same type of product, just focused on the same type of people (i.e. beginners).

The 30 Day Formula Teleseminar (follow-up)

December 6th, 2006

Last night we held our 30 Day Formula Teleseminar, and I believe it went very well.

We had some very nice comments at the end of the teleseminar when we opened it up for questions. This has made me even more excited about released the course that teaches the entire system.

If you were on the teleseminar last night please post a comment on this topic and tell us what you thought (whether good or bad).

Also, if you have extra questions that we did not cover, this is the place to ask them (you can ask your questions even if you weren’t on the teleseminar).

Hopefully we’ll have the recording ready today or tomorrow. Only members of YourSqueezePage will be able to access the call, so if you aren’t a member yet, I strongly suggest you go and get a membership now.

Talk to you soon!

The 30 Day Formula Teleseminar

December 2nd, 2006

Wow, what a response!

When I posted my idea for the “30 Day Formula” (click here to read the post) I wasn’t expecting the huge response that I received!

We have had dozens of comments posted, and we have received a lot of emails asking more about this new course.

The overwhelming majority of you have definitely favored video, so that will be a large component of the course.

However, because I want this to be accessible to everybody, this is what we are going to do:

How To Integrate Squeeze Pages Into A System That Makes Money

December 1st, 2006

I just received a question through a survey campaign that I am holding at YourSqueezePage that I thought was extremely important (you will probably agree).

Here it is:

“Can you direct me to a squeeze page training site that has flow chart illustrations of the overall planning, integration, and application of squeeze pages and their relative uses and marketing position(s) in a commercial web operation?”
