A year ago I was very reluctant to add audio to my websites - I was “microphone-shy” and didn’t want my voice on my websites.

However, once I started adding audio I noticed a HUGE increase in conversions - whether it was opt-in rates on my squeeze pages or sales-rates on my sales letters.

However, even audio is now being out-done by the new trend - online video.

Just take a look at YouTube. It was bought out by Google for 1.6 billion dollars! Do you realize how much money that is? Why would Google spend that much money just to buy a website that contains thousands of videos?

I don’t personally believe that text will ever become useless on the Internet (we still read newspapers, magazines, and textbooks don’t we?) but I do believe that it will become less and less effective as a medium for selling online.

That means that the longer you take to start adding audio and video to your websites the more money you are leaving on the table.

It’s as simple as that.
