How To Integrate Squeeze Pages Into A System That Makes Money
December 1st, 2006
I just received a question through a survey campaign that I am holding at YourSqueezePage that I thought was extremely important (you will probably agree).
Here it is:
“Can you direct me to a squeeze page training site that has flow chart illustrations of the overall planning, integration, and application of squeeze pages and their relative uses and marketing position(s) in a commercial web operation?”
This question is so key to everything you do that I would say it is of utmost importance for your success.
Why?
Simply because you need to know how to integrate the tools that you get into your marketing plan so that it adds to your success and doesn’t simply distract you from it.
With that in mind I have decided to create a course that will show you exactly how to integrate squeeze pages into a simple system that allows you to start making money within one month.
It will use a system that I have developed through experience and through learning that I have done with other marketers.
The beauty is in its simplicity. All you will need is a YourSqueezePage membership and an Aweber account in order to get it to work. You won’t even need your own website.
Here is a sample cover of the e-book I would create:

However, before I completely finish this new project, I need to know something from you - what format would you prefer to see this information in?
Would you prefer:
-an e-book?
-an audio MP3?
-a video (or videos)?
-a teleseminar (or series of teleseminars)?
-something else?
Please let me know by posting a comment to this blog post.
Thanks!
Matthew Glanfield
P.S. If you are a member of YourSqueezePage you will receive this course free of charge. The main goal would be to get you to earn more than the $39.95 per month fee that you are paying so that you can make money with the YourSqueezePage software rather than losing money.

Hi Matthew,
I have a feeling the majority of responses are going to be video, simply because your video training is so very well presented, and so very easy to follow step by step.
Kindest regards,

Hi Matthew, probaqly video format in which any software setting up is demonstrated .Otherwise probably an e book would do.
Craig Says:
Matthew,
I would love to see camtasia videos of the entire process with accompanying PDF. If you could produce it in both formats I think 99%+ would be able to implement those tools. Thanks for such a great product.
Marshall Says:
Hi Matthew,
Good videos are useful, but personally when I am trying to implement a new concept, there is very little that beats the ability to read and re-read directions in an ebook. Frankly, I am little tired of video only products, and find I actually use products more that come with good ol fashioned instructions. Better yet, BOTH!

I would prefer video its less white reflection bouncing into your eye. A little less strain in
an internet world.

PS:
By 2045, collective computer intelligence will be one billion times as much as total human intelligence today, and computers will design and manufacture their own upgrades — no human will be able to understand exactly what is going on. Technological progress in the 21st century will be about 1,000 times as much as that in the 20th century. By the early 2020s, instead of making a cell phone call we will “meet” someone in a virtual world, take a walk with them in a virtual park and talk. Conference “calls” will turn into virtual meetings in places like Maui, or maybe a factory in Thailand that is the subject of the call. When you are walking down the street and see someone you’ve met before, their name and background info will be projected on your retina. Retinal projection will replace CRT and LCD computer displays and TVs.

I would like to see the 30 day formula in video

Matthew,
Video would be the prefered form however one word of caution. Don’t do like other so called guru’s who use videos that either go over the material so fast or assume that a person is familiar with a topic (like FTP or uploading or downloading from the web) as most people purchasing a product like this are not experts. Most of the time I doubt that the so called gurus are either.

Hi Matthew,
I would really like to see this program done in a video promate. I think you have a great voice and you are easy to listen too.
I can sit and listen to hours of video to learn the program, but reading a e-book for 4-5hrs no thanks.
Can wait to purchase it when its ready.

Brian Monahan Says:
Video of course,
However, the limitaion with video is the inability to easily “flick through the pages” to get to that trainming that you remeber seeing. So…An eBook that follows the video format would be a great addition.
Thanks for all this great training material
Brian.

Hi Matthew,
I would prefer a video, with a pdf transcript. i think it’s an excellent idea to run a survey like this before creating a product.
Leroy Walker Says:
I would like a video.
Eric Ackley Says:
I prefer PDF e-books, because I use Linux. Second choice would be videos, but something that can be downloaded and saved for those of us on a slow dial-up connection.
Bob Weiss Says:
Hi Matthew,
I would definitely prefer videos. It’s the easiest way to learn. I have watched other videos that you have produced and they were great.
all the best,
Bob

Matthew,
I sent you a note through your help desk about this project. I have a resource for you that you might find helpful.
Doug
Jon Meek Says:
I agree with several of the other posters here that even though video is a great training tool, a video with a PDF transcript is a hundred times better. It then works as an easy reference tool as you are implemeting the ideas.
Matt, thanks for all your great work.
Jon
Dennis Says:
I like video with a pdf. The video works best for me to grasp the basic concepts. The pdf works best as a reference document.
Phyllis Jordan Says:
I would also choose video with PDF transcript.
Marc Says:
Video and pdf.
Bill Jarvis Says:
Hi Matthew
More of your spledid Videos please!

Glinda Northwitch Says:
video, of course … BUT I would really like to see a detailed step-by-step flow chart to accompany it and to act as a short hand version when I’m trying to implement, so I don’t have to try to go back and listen to the whole freaking video again when I forget exactly what step 8C is.
Video is for learning. Diagram is for doing.
Billy Graham Says:
Matt
The succes you have had with video in your current businesses proves conclusively that Video has to be THE way.
You are good at it which is a distinct advantage so play on your strengths Matt,Video succeeds for 90% of people at all skill levels.
Regards Billy
Marcia Says:
Camtasia video showing step by step along with an ebook would be ideal.
Marie Says:
I agree with Marshall, comment number 6. I would like e-book that follows the videos and very basic step by step instructions.
Philip de Lisle Says:
eBook then videos
I’m a Linux user and a number of videos are now being produced in a version of Flash that won’t display under Linux!
And I can print eBooks and scribble in the margin!
Philip
Peter Tunbridge Says:
Hi Mathew.
Personally, I would prefer to read a PDF book where I could learn at my own pace.
Videos would be a second choice, but ONLY if you could download them - many, like myself, are only able to access the Web through dial-up.
The solution… downloadable videos with PDF transcripts.
Sebastian Says:
Hi Matt
An E-book/PDF with flowcharts and step by steps to follow along and links to explanatory videos.
And some videos with your great and clear comments to help us grasp rapidly the essential points.

David Says:
Hey Matthew,
I think the videos with the .pdf document is a great idea. You have some great products and you are doing a great job. Keep up the good work!
-David
Lynn Says:
I would prefer a pdf format. It is easer for me to follow and to refer to. Easier to locate the steps and can print out a page here and there that has particular interest to me.
Videos are hard for me to see and take hours to get through with many interruptions.
There are customers that will prefer video and customers that will prefer audio and customers that will prefer written. There is an approach that works better for each individual. We don’t all learn the same way. You can appeal to a larger group when you cover the learning techniques that cover all types.
Allan Walker Says:
Video & ebook. But Video for sure
Sue Says:
Hi Matthew,
Videos are definitely the better option, with one proviso!
Can you make them with ’stop’ and ‘continue’ points in them.
That way, we get to re-run a section, so that it gets embedded in the mind easily.
You can either have them in a left-side list, or actually in the video.
Something along the lines:
You would say “Press this spot to continue”.
That way, we could watch the video and practice at the same time.
Regards,
Sue
Walter Says:
1. E-book
2 Step-by-step video if feasible
All the best,
Walter
John Antaya Says:
You approach the use of videos so well that this would be the only way of teaching for you. You are doing a fantastic job with them making learning easy to comprehend.
Regards
John
Ruthella Says:
Matthew,
An ebook, PDF format or videos.
Of these three the best choices are:
I like the PDF format because it is something tangible. The video I can stop or pause to follow while do the work.
dr. chef Says:
-an e-book
-an audio MP3
-a video (or videos)
-step by step
